High-intensity interval training (HIIT), also called High-Intensity Intermittent Exercise (HIIE) or sprint interval training (SIT), is an enhanced form of interval training, an exercise strategy alternating periods of short intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods. HIIT is a form of cardiovascular exercise. Usual HIIT sessions may vary from 4–30 minutes. These short, intense workouts provide improved athletic capacity and condition, improved glucose metabolism(sugar), and improved fat burning. Oh hell yeah!!! ***This is NOT a class for those with Severe Cardiac Issues!*** Join me Monday, 12/2/13 and Wednesday, 12/4/13 @ 7 pm, This class is modified for most fitness levels. We will begin with a five minute warm up followed by 30 minutes of HIIT and 5 minute cool down and stretching! ALL CLASSES are in the Small Group Personal Training Format so please RSVP as I have room for Only 8!
